Please view www.vdacs.virginia.gov/pesticides/pdffiles/bb-identify1.pdf If you catch a bug, please consult with a local pest control company or town/city Extension to get the bug identified. You can also hire a bed bug inspector to assess your location. Some companies charge for the inspection, while others do so for free. An Extension is affiliated with a University's Agriculture Department. To see a list of Extension Offices by state, please go to lancaster.unl.edu/office/locate.shtmlYou may also call your town's/city's Clerk (found on the town's/city's website) to inquire how to get a bug identified. This service is free, and you do not have to give your own identity to have it done, if you don't want to.
