There are a few bed bug tents on the market. They work ok, but not 100%.
Why do they not work 100%?
Because they all have zippers which a bed bug can fit through and get inside of.
A redesign is required to remove this possibility. Here are some suggestions: - tighter zipper which bed bugs cannot fit through - replace the zipper with a magnetic strip - incorporate the bed bug-proof zipper (has a flap or two of fabric over it) which the certified mattress encasements have
Some of these tents are dark in color. It's been shown by laboratories that bed bugs prefer black to white, and are a bit repelled by white.
The bed bug tents can all come in white material, rather than any other color.
